Today in driving rain the drilling rig finally rolled out of the field! After pumping water for 24 hours at a considerable rate the drilling team were finally willing to concede that they had found water. Those of you with calendars will see that the rig came on site in November last year for a job that was to take about 7 to 10 days! If you’re interested there’s a geological map of the area in the office which shows the difficult underlying strata that, among other things, has made this job so difficult. Not finished yet but at least Bramcote Mains is making progress in its preparation to combat the drought conditions!
